First Baptist Church, Garden Lakes has an ongoing ministry of Christian education through the study of God's Word for people of all ages. Each class is designed to help the believer grow spiritually in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, to promote Christian fellowship, and to serve as an evangelistic outreach arm of the church. The best way to get to know others is to become an active member of one of our many Sunday School classes.

Come join one of our many Sunday school classes from 9:30am - 10:30am. Our Sunday School Classes offer the opportunity to learn God's word in a small group setting.

Children's Sunday School Classes
Our 4-year-olds through 6th grade meet their teachers in the main sanctuary for a short music time and then are led by their teachers to class. All other age groups meet at the classroom. Placement in the children's classes is based on school age. For example, if your child turns 4 in October he/she would not move up into the 4-year-old class until September of the following year.

Youth Classes
Our Jr. High and High School students are currently using KNOWN curriculum from Lifeway. The goal of this curriculum is to help the students know Christ, own their faith and make their faith known. Each student receives a monthly study guide. In addition, Jr. High and school students can attend Tuesday Night Live, which is a youth worship service with a youth praise brand at 6:30pm every Tuesday night. The Youth also meet for fellowship on Sunday evenings at various homes, participate in local service projects and go on various mission trips.

Adult Classes
Women’s Class Women's class taught by - to be determined.

Adult 1 class taught by Max Beal. Max covers a variety of Biblical topics.

Adult 2 class taught by Jim Hamic uses the Explore the Bible curriculum from Lifeway. During March, April, & May, Jim will be teaching out of the Book of Exodus and Leviticus. Participants receive a quarterly study guide.

Marriage Enrichment Couples Class taught by Brooks and Liz Worman, Jim and Jasmine Frazier uses both video and curriculm. This is your chance to invite couples in your neighborhood to a FUN time of learning and fellowship!

Senior Adults taught by David Waltman uses the Explore the Bible curriculum from Lifeway. During March, April, & May, David will be teaching out of the Book of Exodus and Leviticus. Participants receive a quarterly study guide.
